ME time! What? Who is going to take care of all that is pending at my home? My kids, their homework, folding cloths, cooking, cleaning….I don’t have time to sleep and here we talk about “ME TIME”. I have to go to office as well.  Yes but a good family and kids can be raised by a happy mother. At times it’s good to slow down a little to run faster later. Everyone needs a break from the monotonous routine. The downtime will give you the stamina to run that extra mile. It just looks like we can’t take a break but slowly this get into the routine and we all will start looking forward for the “ME TIME”. You can keep in mind few tips while doing your kids room. 1.        Height of organisational units should be kept low matching their height. Kids will use closets, toy racks, coat racks more often if they are within their reach. This will help kids to be more organised. 2.        Colour scheme of the room can be stereotype like pink for girls and blue for boys. But giving a wider choice of colour will help them widen their horizon in life and break monotony in life. 3.        Wall stickers are the best option to do the wall especially for growing kids. Their likes and dislikes change with age. This is a less expensive option and easy to do. Let your kids do the wall decals. Let them choose and place it on the wall. All parents dream of the taking the most well-mannered kids out with them. But the best of the child can be very cranky. Going to market with a grade school kid can at times be a big challenge for parents. They have their set of demands which can be at times very unreasonable. They will be stuck on that one toy that is of no use and very expensive. They often make it a habit of getting a toy each time they go for grocery shopping. As a mother I really can’t handle my budget because of these tantrums by my child.  There are instances when the young school graders aged 6-8 years don’t even understand the worth of time. My 7 year old can tell me the time by looking at the clock but she fails to understand the importance of it. It would be almost school time when she will be stuck with her fantasies.
